Hummingbird Card

This hummingbird card began as one of my mixed media collage pieces layered with soft paint, vintage-inspired textures, hand-drawn marks, and delicate floral details. I wanted it to feel peaceful, thoughtful, and quietly meaningful — the kind of card someone pauses to look at before opening.

I’ve always loved cards that feel personal enough to keep long after the occasion has passed. The hummingbird felt like the perfect symbol for that feeling — small moments of beauty, connection, hope, and presence that can easily be missed in busy everyday life.
